This extraordinary village is typical of Fulani villages where the men are absent… gone on an adventure, as they say in Guinea!
The village is thus populated by women, children and babies, former returnees and a few young people who have chosen to stay to highlight their tourist heritage.
The women maintain the tradition of decorating the huts and are happy and proud to show you their creations and to introduce you to the symbolism of their painting and the preparation of natural pigments.
